30DWC - Day 5 - 5 Places I Want to Visit

I love travel, but I hate airplanes. So, this should be interesting.

  1. New York, New York - Let the cliche begin! NYC has everything I want - fantastic theatre, art, noise, people, colors... It seems ideal. Plus, you know, Broadway.
Right?!
  1. London, England - England just seems like a calm, dreary paradise. I love the rain, so I wouldn't mind the weather at all. I bet it always smells like tea and petrichor there. In the words of Mary Poppins, it's "practically perfect in every way."

  1. Japan - I did not have this at the top of my list before I met David. However, I have a friend who lived there, and I've been doing a lot of research on it because it is freaking cool! They have hot springs, bath houses (yes, an entire building just for baths!), ramen shops, Lolita... it's insane and seems like blast!
Crazy and awesome.
  1. Paris, France - I love the entire idea of Paris. Romance and baguettes and all that crap. Plus, the Moulin Rouge!
Look at that architecture!
  1. (I'll admit, this is cheating:) Tie between Africa and Thailand - I want to do missions in these places. I feel led to go there and spread the gospel. Back to Day 4 (Inspirational People) - Audrey Hepburn spent a ton of time in remote nations, giving to those who had needs. And Katie lives in Uganda caring for orphans and sick people. That seems like the most beautiful, albeit dirty and sad, existence I can think of. I want to be as generous as they are in Christ's name.
Freaking elephants!

Look at these precious faces :)
